KLOSLER, John – it is with great sadness that we announce the untimely passing of John Robert Klosler. Dear brother to Kathy Hoy (Ron) and kind uncle to Robert and Andrew Hoy. Predeceased by his father Martin (2018), his mother Maria (2020) and his brother Martin (1977). From childhood, John was always happy, friendly and a very kind soul. He was a great friend to many and really enjoyed spending time with them; John’s door was always open and he never hesitated to invite you in. John’s passions were boating and riding his Harley. In the last 10 years, John enjoyed spending time (in the off-season) at his home away from home in Cape Coral, Florida – swimming in the pool, boating and riding his Harley with the many friends he met down there. John grew up working on the family farm – eventually becoming a very skilled farmer. Sadly, John passed away from the Covid-19 virus – much too young. John will be dearly missed by so many. Due to Covid restrictions, a private family funeral will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Simcoe with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
