Joan (Milliken) McFall, passed away peacefully at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site on October 10, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was 81 years old.
Predeceased by her husband Samuel McFall (1929-1999), Joan is survived by her husband, Joe Hudson and their blended family: her children Ian McFall (Mary Jean), Samuel (Uel) McFall (Donna), Roderick (Roddy) McFall (Emily) and Joanne McFall Smith (Roger Smith), as well as Joe’s children Helen Anne Hudson (Vincent Guyonnet), Mary Jean McFall (Ian),Ted Hudson (Sherri), Susan Hudson and Margaret Hudson. Devoted grandmother of John McFall (Emily), William McFall (Brei), Hugh McFall, Connor McFall, Meaghan McFall, Sean McFall, Rory Smith, Sam Smith, Allister Guyonnet, Tristan Guyonnet, Audrey Guyonnet, Catherine Hudson, JT Hudson, Evelyn Rogan and James Rogan. Great Grandma and “Cha-Cha” to Charlotte McFall and William McFall. Dearly remembered by her sister Myrtle Megrath (Ron); by her brother John (Jackie) Milliken (Janet), and by a large beloved family in Northern Ireland and Scotland, including many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.
Proudly from Northern Ireland, Joan was born in Carrickfergus, County Antrim and made Canada her home in 1968 with Sam and her children. Joan was predeceased by her parents Charlotte Sophia Dillon and John Milliken. While her loss was sudden, her presence will be felt for years to come.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Wednesday, October 14th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Thursday, October 15th from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.

A private celebration of Joan’s life will be held in the Chapel on Friday, October 16, 2020 followed by a graveside service and interment at Cataraqui Cemetery, Kingston at 2:30 pm.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to St. John The Baptist Anglican Church, Lyn or the Brockville and District Hospital Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged.
