Jean Lucinda Taylor
1939-2020
Jean Lucinda Taylor, 81, of Edgett’s Landing passed away
peacefully on December 3,2020 at the Moncton Hospital.
Jean was born in Point Wolfe on October 9, 1939
the daughter of the late Gordon and Irene (Bernier)
Rossiter.
She was a great cook and worked at several places over the
years. Her last adventure was running her own restaurant in
Alma, «The Fundy Driftwood». She loved talking
with people and making conversation with all the customers, everyone
in Alma knew her. Jean was a good neighbour and was always
willing to help out in any way she could. She had a great
sense of humour and loved to joke around and have fun. Jean and her
siblings were close, she talked to some of them daily. Being
from a family of twelve children she learned what family was all
about. Jean had five boys of her own and was very
proud of them all. She enjoyed hearing about her
grandchildren and great grandchildren and how they were all
doing. She would want everyone to think of the
good times they shared, and as you reminisce telling many
stories. The most beautiful smile is the one for someone who
isn’t there, as you think of them.
She will be deeply missed by her sons, Tom Taylor, Fred
Taylor both of Grand Prairie, AB, Tim Taylor (Patrick) of Gibsons, BC
and Jeff Taylor (Linda) of Airdrie, AB; her treasured grandchildren,
Justin (MIchelle) of London, ON, Julie (Brent) of Ailsa Craig, ON,
Crystal (Steven) of Ajax, ON, Cheryl (Ryan) of Calgary, AB, Megan,
Jayna and Emily all of Airdrie, AB; her precious great grandchildren,
William, Riley and Xavier; sister, Doreen Steeves; brothers, Malcolm
Rossiter (Ruth) of Salem, John Rossiter (Bettyanne) of Riverview,
Hilyard Rossiter of Alma, Milburn Rossiter (Brenda) of South Branch,
Earl Rossiter (Monica) of Riverside-Albert, Roy Rossiter of Moncton,
and Eric Rossiter (Marla) of Alma; brother-in-law, Terry Way of
Alma. She will also be missed by several nieces and
nephews.
Besides her parents she was predeceased by the father of
her children, George «Ted» Taylor; her son, Colin Taylor;
sisters, Gertrude Rossiter, Irene Way and Carol Nelson (Herbert);
