Finn, Jane Elizabeth “Jennie” (nee Cochrane)
Peacefully, at Park Lane Terrace, Paris, after a courageous 18-year battle with Alzheimer’s, on Tuesday October 27, 2020, a long-time resident of Paris, in her 99th year. Jennie was born in Leyland England and immigrated to Canada as a child.
Beloved wife to the late Ronald (1992); loved mother to the late Sharon Finn (2013), Martha Finn, and Carol Moore (Steve); cherished grandmother to 4 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; dear sister to Joan Dopp (Jack) and sister in law to Nancy Finn (the late Ted) and Dorie Jackson. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her beloved sister and best friend Renie Reeves (Jim) and sister in law Fran Thompson (Harry).
Cremation has taken place. A family service will be held later with interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Jennie had a great love of children and animals and the family asks in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her favorite charities OXFAM, Doctors Without Borders, or the SPCA.
