James Yule,
September 8, 1919 – September 7, 2020
Passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on September 7, 2020 one day shy of his 101st. Cherished husband of the late Roberta May (née MacDermid). James was predeceased by his parents James and Margaret as well as his sister Hazel Foley and her husband Allan. Loving father of Sandy Richler (Michael), Linda Talarico Yule and Dawn Yule. Proud and adoring Grampie to Matthew (Caitlyn), Emily and Aaron Richler. Dear uncle to Diane Francoeur and Gail Elgaard.
Jim Yule was a devoted father, husband and grandfather who cared deeply about being a family man. He courageously fought in WWII, including D-day to fight for our freedoms. A charitable caring man who had a strong faith in God and constantly gave back to his community. He loved playing the piano, wood working, and loved the sports of soccer and basketball. He will be sorely missed by so many people. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Revera who provided such great care for him during his two-year tay.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 12 at Tubman Funeral Homes, Outdoor Garden Chapel at 10:30am, 3440 Richmond Rd, Nepean.
