James Harold Tinkess
Peacefully surrounded by family Harold went to be with the Lord after a valiant fight on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at the age of 83. Loving husband of Arlie (nee Bullard) of 62 years. Cherished father of James (Justyna) Ottawa, Randall (Shelley) Ramona, CA, Cory (Jasmine) Mountain View, CA. Proud Papa of Austin, Amanda, Kai and Wesley. Predeceased by his parents William and Eileen (nee Mooney) Tinkess. Brother of Joan Tinkess, Sylvia Wolff (Moe) and Brian Tinkess. He will be sadly missed by Sisters-in-law Marjorie Bullard (late Doug) and Barbara Bullard (late Patrick). He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
There will be a mass of Christian Burial on February 18, 2020 at 11 a.m. At St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church, 1303 Leaside Ave., Ottawa. The family would like to welcome everyone to a reception in the church hall following the service. Interment at South Gower Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, donations to Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital, 43 Bruyere St. Ottawa would be greatly appreciated by the family.
