BIEDERMANN, James Elgin
1930 – 2020
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce his passing peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on December 13th, 2020 at the age of 90 years.
Predeceased by his parents Albert and Maggie Biedermann. Beloved husband of his one true love Shirley (nee Denault) of 64 years. Dear father to James (Cathy) of Sault Ste. Marie, John (Debbie), and Christine (Gilles).
Loving grandpa to Michael (Alicia), Sarah, David, Jennifer (Albert), Connie, Jamie, Katie, and three great-grandchildren Madisyn, Jackson, and Courtney. He will also be missed by his many family and friends. James was a Jack of all Trades and his grandchildren would say, “if Grandpa can’t fix it, nobody can”.
James was born in Low Bush, Ontario and worked road construction for many years with Leo Alarie and Sons. James provided well for his family giving all the love he had. His spirit will live on where he loved to spend all his time outdoors — hunting, fishing, and trapping.
The family wishes to thank Dr. Paquette and all TDH staff on Medical A and ICU. A special thank you to Bayshore/NELHIN and Marnie Chisholm and her team for all their compassion and care.
A celebration of Life will be held at later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to LESSARD-STEPHENS Funeral Home. Remembrance donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
