Jack Alvin Currah
1936-2020
Jack Alvin Currah, 84, of Albert Mines passed away
unexpectedly on February 25th, 2020 at his residence.
Jack was born in Port Perry, ON on January 17,1936 the son
of the late Alvin and Mary (Lindsay) Currah.
Jack was a mechanic and worked for Ontario Motor Sales
until his retirement. He enjoyed model trains and doing
carpentry. He loved his place in Albert Mines and enjoyed
working at making it the home he had always wanted. He had a
special place in his heart for animals and
especially his cats.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte (Milton) Currah of
Albert Mines; children, Lee Anne, Ilene and Jason; his grandchildren
and brother, Rennie (Joanne) all of Ontario. He is also
survived by all his in-laws, extended family and several nieces and
nephews.
He will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home with a
time of visitation on Monday, March 2nd, 2020 from 2-4pm.
There will be no funeral service. Interment will be in the
Albert Mines Baptist Cemetery, Albert Mines at a later
date.
