At Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on January 12, 2020, J. Ross Wood of Simcoe in his 68th year. Beloved husband of Kathy (nee Mater) for nearly 46 years. Dear father of Scott Wood, Lee Wood and Kristy Wood (Rob Edge). Cherished grandfather to Tyler Edge, Madison Wood and Liam Wood. Dear son of Marion Schedewitz. Ross is also survived by his mother-in-law Justina Mater. Predeceased by his stepfather Bert Schedewitz and his father-in-law James Thomas Mater. Ross was a proud father and grandfather and was former Vice-President of the Army, Navy and Air Force Unit 255, Simcoe. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to THE FERRIS FUNERAL HOME, Simcoe. Memorial donations to A.N and A.F. Unit 255, Simcoe would be appreciated.
