Helen Louise Moloy nee Brooks of Thedford passed away peacefully with family by her side at Chartwell Long Term Care in Parkhill on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at the age of 91.
The loved wife of the late Herb Moloy (2015), Helen and Herb raised their son Dwayne(Sheila)on the family farm. Helen was blessed to see her family grow with the addition of her granddaughters Alana (Cory), Lacie (Dave), and great-grandchildren Brennan and Breanna.
Helen grew up the youngest daughter of Ernest and Catherine Brooks with her siblings Kathleen, Irene, Ted, Lawrence, and Harold.
Helen loved to bake and enjoyed playing cards in her spare time. Taking great pride working on her family farm, Helen grew and harvested onions and beats for over 50 years. Despite the hard work and long days in the sun, Helen’s heart was easily melted with the smiles of her granddaughters and great-grandchildren. The love of family that was beyond measure.
Family and friends will gather for a Memorial Service on Monday, July 13, 2020, at 2pm at Pinehill Cemetery, 8460 Ridge Road, Thedford. A life well lived, a life filled with hard work, determination, and devotion.
The family would like to express their sincere thankfulness to the entire staff at Chartwell Long Term Care in Parkhill for their genuine care and compassion. Donations are appreciated to the Parkinsons Society or the Sarnia Humane Society
