SCOTT, Helen Josephine:
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Helen at Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Saturday December 5, 2020 in her 87th year. She was the beloved wife of Jim Scott for 63 years. Loving mother of Barbara Bridgman, Sandra (David) Stewart. Devoted grandmother of Shaylin, Cory, Devin, and Brayden and great grandmother of Lincoln and Myla. Helen was the oldest girl of her 11 brothers and sisters, Arnold (Betty), Alan (Sharon), Eleanor, Carol (Ron), Jim, Elizabeth (Brian), and predeceased by Louise, David, Jane, Arthur and John. Helen worked in many jobs but her heart was in being a devoted wife and mother. Her love of her faith, her many talents of baking, canning, knitting and sewing was generously shared with all she loved. Helen and Jim enjoyed travelling and spending time at their cottage. Helen’s quick smile and zest for life will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and celebration of Helen’s life will take place once the COVID restrictions have been lifted. Memorial donations to the Children Wish Foundation or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
