Obituary of Gregory William Watt
Gregory William Watt left us on Tuesday, March 24th at 5:30pm after a 20 year battle with cancer. He was comfortable and surrounded by family at his time of passing and fought to the very end. Son to the late Frank and Eudora. Husband and best friend to Diane. Brother to Wendy (Brian) and Colin (Betty-Ann). Father and buddy to Michael (Lynda) and Christopher (Samantha). «Grumpa» to Anderson, McKenzie and Frankie. During his life, Greg’s passions included fishing, woodworking, guitars, bird watching, riding motorcycles, food and most of all, his grandchildren. We were all proud and amazed at his bravery, determination, positive attitude and will to keep fighting. And in the end, we think he won.
We would like to extend thanks to all the amazing staff that have been involved with Greg’s long journey at the LHSC as well as at the Parkwood Institute, who made Greg’s last days comfortable.
