It is with great sadness that the family of the Late Gregory Hunter Beaumont-Smith announce his passing in Black Duck Siding, NL on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the age of 49 years.
Greg was born in Barrie, ON on November 1, 1970. He grew up in Harvey Station, NB. He later moved to Stephenville and met his best friend Dee. He studied to be an electrician and later worked for EFCO and companies in Western Canada. Greg dearly loved his fur babies Raul, Kola and Daisy. He also took great pride and enjoyment in playing his drums.
Greg leaves behind his best friend Dee Swyers, Stephenville, NL; step-son Lucien Swyers, Stephenville, NL; loving mother Janet Smith, Black Duck Siding, NL and her friend Peter, Cape St. George, NL; brother Christopher (Petra) Thanisch-Smith, Winnipeg, MB and his sister Patte (Edis) Ozker, Brentwood Bay, BC. Greg was predeceased by his loving father Richard Beaumont-Smith and his fur baby Daisy, the apple of his eye.
To honor and respect Greg’s wishes, cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena, NL. He will be laid to rest at a later date.
