Glenna Morris ( Kerr )
At the Brockville General Hospital on Friday October 30th, 2020. Glenna Morris (Kerr) of Athens, age 94 years. Beloved wife of the late Gordon Morris, and dear mother of Shirley Hackett (Bruce) of Russell, Tom Morris (Karyn Curtis) of Ottawa and Neil Morris of Athens. She will be missed by her grandchildren, Shannon Svenson (Nathan) of P.E.I., Maren Hackett (Robert Allan), Joel Hackett (Kyla Hawley), Jordan Curtis-Morris and Tyler Curtis-Morris, all of Ottawa, and by her great-grandchildren, Darwin, Solomon, Myriam, Rasmus, Anders, Luke and Tilda Svenson and Lily and James Allan. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Lillie (Morris) Kerr, and by her brother Robert Kerr and is wife Phyllis. Glenna was a graduate of Athens District High School and the Brockville General Hospital School of Nursing (1946). She worked as a Registered Nurse at Brockville General Hospital and Maple View Lodge, Athens.
There will be no visitation or service. A Private Family interment will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank the Bayshore Home Care Workers, and also the staff at Brockville General Hospital for their care and compassion. In memoriams to the Leeds & Grenville Interval House, will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
