Obituary of Gertrude Ostrander
Ostrander, Gertrude a resident of Wallaceburg and formerly of Bothwell, passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance-Sydenham Campus on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the 92. Born in London, daughter of the late Jacobous and Mildred Boonman. Beloved wife of the late Verne Ostrander (2006). Dear mother the late Gary & Betty Ostrander, Marlene & Howard Quick of North Bay, Patricia & Vince Zanki of Wallaceburg, the late Sandra Nissen (1988), and John Ostrander of Thamesville. Forever missed by her grandchildren, Kim (Richard), Darren (Marni), J.P. (Karla), Mike (Rebecca), Steve, Carrie (Cam), Jenny, Sonya, Krista, Jared, Clinton (Emma), Ashlyn (Jordan), Cameron (Jocelyn), many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Dear sister to John Boonman (Jennette) of Toronto, the late Irene & Duncan McGregor, the late Dora Lyle. A Private family visitation and Funeral Mass will take place at St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell. Those wishing to leave an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the Alzheimer Society.
