It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family of the late George (Frank) Francis Collier announces his sudden passing at his residence in Codroy, NL on Tuesday, October 6th, 2020 with his wife by his side at the age of 80 years. Born in Cape Anguille, NL, George was the son of the late George and Rose (nee Hilliard) Collier. He was also predeceased by his brothers; Wilfred Collier, Amos Collier, Fredrick Collier, James Samms, sister; Patrica Collier, Marie Samms, father and mother-in-law; Issac and Josephine (nee Bragg) Kendell, nephews; Amos Janes, Richard Collier, infant twin, sisters-in-law; Joan Marie, Clarie Lillian Kendell and Mable Collier.
George leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 57 years Eva (nee Kendell) Collier, daughters; Wanda (Wilson) Warren, Josephine Collier both of Port aux Basques, NL, son; Francis (Tanya) Collier of Codroy, NL, seven grandchildren; Valetta, Joseph, Josephine, Robert, Philip, Nicholas, Ashley, six great-grandchildren; Nathaniel, Emma-Lee, Kaylee, Carter, Bryson, Chase, brothers; Ernest (Greta) Collier, Nelson (Sharon) Samms, sisters; Ruth (Ralph) Janes, Ruthie (Edward) Samms, sisters-in-law; Geraldine Hilliard, Mona Collier, Valarie Collier all of Codroy, NL, Linda (Martin) O’Quinn of Corner Brook, NL, brothers-in-law; Edgar Bragg of Isle aux Morts, NL, Tom (Audrey) Kendell of Lourdes, NL and Russell (Mary) Kendell of Codroy, NL plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and many longtime friends.
In keeping with George’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation and a celebration of George’s life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s memory can be made to the family.
