On Sunday, August 2, 2020, at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK, George Edward Olson, Age 81 of Wakaw, SK, went to his eternal rest. George is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Katherine (nee Zuk); his son Rick (Ann) Olson; his daughter Robin (Ken Freund); his grandchildren: Jeffrey (Kristina) Olson, Charissa (Jesse) Kwasnica, Shelby (Mike) Freund, Hollie Freund and Jessi (Kiera) Freund; his great granddaughter Katherine Olson; his brother Edwin Olson; his sister Betty Wittig; his in-laws: Larry Zuk, Frank (Bev) Kager and Maryann Zuk; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. George was predeceased by his parents John and Lillie (Holmes) Olson; his parents-in-law Pete and Mary Zuk; his in-laws: John Zuk, Don Wittig, Betty Kager and Frances Olson; his niece Gaylene Kager and his nephew Ken Peterson. A private family Funeral Service was held in the Chapel of Kushneryk Funeral Service in Wakaw. Interment followed at the Wakaw United Church Cemetery. Donations in memory of George may be directed to the Wakaw United Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Marc Blondeau of Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK, 306-233-4403.
