The family announces with great sorrow, her death, Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at the age of 86 years. Daughter of the late Albert and the late Cécile (née Bedard) Giroux. Wife of the late René Lamontagne. Loving mother of Gaëtan (Wife Louise deceased), Jacqueline of Sudbury, Claude (wife of Hélene of St-Charles. Dear sister of Lucille Prud’homme (late Émile) of Sudbury, Rita Prud’homme (deceased) (late Albert), Alma Desrochers (late Marcel) of Sudbury, Gertrude Fortin (late Gérard) of Alban, Réjeanne Carmichael (Calvin) of Chelmsford and Cécile Pharand of Sudbury. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Robert (wife Sabrina), Donald (wife Melissa), Denis (wife Mariane), Eric and her great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Emma, Matthew, Alex, Zacharie, Renée, Rhéal, Roger, Ziva. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the Pioneer Manor for the care of our dear Mother Gabrielle. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd E. Sudbury, Friday, January 17, 2020 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10:00 a.m., St Marguerite D’Youville Church, Val Therese.
