Obituary of Frank Curley
Peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family and caregivers, on Saturday, July 4, 2020, at Lee Manor, Owen Sound. Francis Edward Curley, of Owen Sound, at the age of 90 years.
Loving husband of Jean Curley (née Spencer). Loving father of Paul and Shelley of Owen Sound, Mary (late Tom) of Owen Sound, Rose Heathers (late Steve) of Owen Sound, Michael and Lynn of The Farm, Joy Farrow (late Paul Agnew) of Wasaga Beach, Kathy and Don Sim of Tara, Carolyn and Milt Towle of Stony Plain, Alberta, and Donna and Tony Cottenie of Williamsford. Cherished Grandpa of 18 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Missed by sisters-in-law Murial Curley of California and Betty Curley of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.
Predeceased by his siblings James, Mary Fyvie and Thomas Jr., 1 grandchild and 2 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at the Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 – 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions numbers will be limited in the building to 45 people. People are asked to wear a mask and stay physically distant. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Owen Sound, on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Michael’s Cemetery, Irish Block. Friends and extended family are welcome to view the service via live stream at 11 a.m. on Wednesday by visiting www.woodfuneralhome.ca.
