CHAMBERS, Fern Victoria (nee Salerne) 1929-2020 – passed away at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Tuesday, April 7th, 2020 in her 92nd year. Loving mother of Allan Chambers (Judy) of Simcoe, the late Paul Chambers (2001) and Nancy Chambers (Robert Kendrick) of Simcoe. Cherished grandmother & great grandmother of Nicole Burak (Jonathan), children Emily & Avery; and Brooke French (Christian), children Julia & Hannah. Fern will be sadly missed by her sisters Augustine Morris (late Raymond) of Brantford and Jean Michalicka (Rudy) of Bobcaygeon and by her sister-in-law Ruth Salerne of Waterford. Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews & extended family. Predeceased by brothers Albert Salerne (Shirley) and Vince Salerne. Due to restrictions of the covid19 outbreak, a private family visitation & service will be held at the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe. Pastor Ron Mullin will officiate. Interment: Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe. Those wishing to donate in memory of Fern are asked to consider a charity of one’s choice.
