Obituary of Evelyn Margaret MacKinnon
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Evelyn Margaret MacKinnon, age 82, of Fredericksburg, NB on April 15, 2020. Evelyn was born in Tay Mills, NB to Frank and Alma Thomas on January 24th, 1938. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Archibald MacKinnon. Evelyn enjoyed baking, knitting, working on puzzles, but most of all hosting her holiday gatherings with family.
Evelyn is survived by her two children, Phillip (Teresa) MacKinnon and Heather MacKinnon (Jason G. O’Donnell). Evelyn also had six grandchildren; Kimberly Hunter (Michael), Kristy MacKinnon (Joey Babineau), Kaitlin MacKinnon, Pamela MacKinnon, Shelby Dorcas (Aaron Munn) and McKenzie Dorcas. Evelyn also had three great grandchildren; Cole & Ty Hunter and Alyvia Ste-Marie.
Due to the current public advisory with regard to Covid-19 and gatherings, there will be no visitation or service. A private graveside service will take place at a later date. Personal condolences may be offered through www.yorkfh.com
