Esther Jean (Adams) King ~ formerly of Harriston, passed away at Fordwich Village Nursing Home on Monday, August 3, 2020, in her 92nd year.
Beloved mother of Carol Knox of Tara, Doug King and his wife Marilyn of Fordwich, Karen Drabyk and her husband Michael of Arthur, and Colleen Reibeling and her husband Kevin of Listowel.
Remembered by her grandchildren Kerri and Doug McCartney, Lori Knox, Rachael King, Grace King and Dave Brutto, Adam and Mandy King, Virginia King, Sarah Drabyk, Luke Drabyk, Amanda and Ryan Mitchell, Heather and Darryl Kuepfer, Amber and Colin Rawn, and Michael Reibeling and Christine Boyer; by her great-grandchildren Kaitlyn Knox, Megan McCartney, Tyler McCartney, Jessica Pendergast, Dylan Pendergast, Carolyn Knox, Ethan Jennings, Max Jennings, Lily Oosterveld, Sophie King, Jaxon Rawn, Kylie Rawn, Hannah Reibeling, and Brook Reibeling, and by her great-greatgrandchildren Melina and Sylas.
Survived by her sister Rosemary Colvin of Ripley, as well as her nieces and nephew.
Esther was predeceased by her husband Earle King, son-in-law Bill Knox, grandson Kevin Knox, brother Scott Adams and wife Hazel, brother-in-law Duffy Colvin, and niece Debbie Foxton.
Visitation will be held at the Hardy-Lee Funeral Home, Harriston on Thursday, August 6th from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, visitors must schedule a time by selecting RSVP under the «Service Details» on Esther’s page on the funeral home website, or by calling the funeral home at 519-338-2441. Everyone attending must wear a mask.
A private family funeral service will follow at 2:30 p.m., with Rev. Jessica Cottrell officiating.
Interment in Gorrie Cemetery.
