Peacefully, after a courageous battle, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday, February 11, 2020. Beloved husband of the late Cohava Krief for forty-eight years. Loving father and father-in-law of Keren and Michel Alkoby, Eli, Elad and Sharit. Cherished Saba of Matan, Ben, Jonathan, Shelly, Michael, Rebecca, Leo and Gabriel. Son of the late Hassiba and the late Eliahou Elkoubi; son-in-law of Matilda and the late Pinchas Krief. Dear brother of Joseph, David, Messody, Jacob, Benjamin, Michael. Predeceased by his other siblings. Emmanuel will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, family, friends and all those whose lives he touched. The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Kavan, Dr. Barrera and their teams at the Segal Cancer Centre, as well as all the angels at the Palliative Care Unit for their exceptional care and compassion. Special thanks to Hope and Cope and Refuah V’Chesed for their amazing support. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean-Talon St. W., on Friday, February 14 at 12:00 noon. Burial at the Beit Abraham Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva at his home from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., daily.
