PEELAR – Elsie Jane
It is with great sorrow the family announces the passing of Elsie (nee Lea) on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at the Brantford General Hospital in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Richard Wilbur “ Dick” Peelar 2018. Much loved mother of Linda Denholm (Ken) of Nova Scotia, Rick Peelar (Judy) of Trout Creek, Gail Boyce (Andy) of New Hamburg, Teresa Ivey (Gary) of Alberta and Kimberly Slote of Brantford. Cherished grandmother of Adam, Robin, Ryan, Ivan, Sarah, Matthew, Jessie, Becca, Kevin, Tyler, Tanya, Michelle, Charlene and loving great-grandmother of sixteen. She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. A Heartfelt thank you to Wendy Farnsworth for all her love and dedication, also the Brantford VON services, oh how she Loved “Her Girls!” The Palliative Care Unit at BGH who did an amazing job taking care of all of us during Mom’s last week! As expressions of appreciation/sympathy donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit at the Brantford General Hospital or the Hamilton General Hospital Thrombosis Unit.
