Elsie Marie Zadow (Rienert)
passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in the Pembroke Regional Hospital at the age of 80.
Daughter of the late August and Arona Rienert.
Beloved wife of Norman Zadow. Dear mother to Steve (Heather), David (Corby) and Doug (Kelly). Grandmother to Jonathan, Jennifer, Jessica, Cassandra, Cody, Zachary and Paige. Great grandmother of Emma and Carter.
Elsie was survived by her brothers Oscar (Lois) and August (Elaine).
An extraordinary woman to say the least, Elsie was a hairdresser by trade running her hair salon for 25 years. A business woman owning her own cosmetic franchise which allowed her to travel the world and enjoy all its beauty. She also owned and operated the Four Seasons Sport store in Eganville, Ontario. In her spare time she was involved in helping organize many community social events and was an active member on the board at Fairfields. While Elsie was a busy woman and always on the go, her true joy came from spending time with friends and family and cooking for all at the hunt camp.
Friends and family are invited to attend visitation for Elsie held on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Eganville from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A private family Funeral Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church. Interment, Grace Lutheran Cemetery.
