Collinson, Dwain C.
1963 – 2020
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of father, brother, uncle and friend, Dwain C. Collinson. Dwain (Duane) aged 56 passed away on May 30, 2020 at his home in Edmonton, Alberta. He was born on July 29, 1963 in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories to Edward and Annette Collinson.
He enjoyed cooking, carving stones, working with his hands, hunting and spending time with family and friends. He was fun-loving, kind, always willing to lend a hand and had a great sense of humour.
Dwain is survived by his two children: Lance Collinson and Alisha Acheson; granddaughter Lilly Parkinson; brothers and sisters: Verna Collinson, Bonita Collinson, Paul Collinson, Sarah Cardinal Wright (Jeff), John Collinson (Linda), David Arbeau (Victoria), Sharon Farcey and Stephen Farcey; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and loved ones.
Dwain was predeceased by his mother, Annette Green (2014), father, Edward Collinson; brother Scotty Collinson (Dolores) (2013).
A self-distancing service will be held on June 26, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home. A video of the service will also be available.
