Douglas Franklin Coleman passed peacefully in his home, August 30th 2020 in Ajax, Ontario. In his earlier days Doug enjoyed golfing, spending time with his grandchildren and watching hockey. Some would say he was the ultimate leaf fan even though he has been disappointed with them since 1968. He enjoyed watching his sons race in home made race cars. He also thoroughly enjoyed his time as a paid tourist driving all over North America in his transport.
Doug was Born on June 20th 1959 in Washington, DC to Virgil and Ann Coleman (Morrison).
He was the proud father of sons Paul (Meghan) and Matthew (Krista) and grandfather to Owen, Devin, Evelyn Grace,James and Emma. Survived by brothers Robert, James, Michael and sister Sandra. He will be missed by his 2 nephews Peter and Patrick. He will be missed by many friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his special friend Lena.
A Memorial Visitation will be held at the Accettone Funeral Home on Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 1:00 pm til time of Service in the Chapel at 2:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald house in your area.
