Donella (Don) Jean Williams (née Parker)
Don passed away November 22, 2020, at the age of 82, in Jubilee Manor, Nelson, BC after a brief illness.
Don was born on April 16, 1938 in Nelson.
She married Ken on March 25, 1961.
Mom lived her life in Nelson. She started work at the CIBC until 1970, when she became bookkeeper for the Lord Nelson Hotel. She worked there until she took early retirement in 1998. She bowled for years, then put it aside until she returned to Seniors Bowling, where she won many awards and medals. Other hobbies Don enjoyed were knitting, crocheting, cross stich, all needlework, reading, crosswords and jigsaw puzzles.
Don is survived by her daughter Cyndi Haight, and son Derrick Williams. Grandchildren Nicole (Markus), Brandi (Gavin), James (Shannon) and Jaden. Great grandsons Dallas, Kayden, Max and Xavier, all of Nelson. Sister Patricia Sipley (Lindsay) of Warman, Sask., as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Don was predeceased by her husband Ken (2004) son Dalton (1997), her mother (1993) and sister Alice (2007).
Service to he held at a later date.
