Donald «Toot» Alick
1958-2020
It is with great sadness that the family
announces the passing of Donald Lewis
Alick on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Better
known as Toot Alick, he was a long time member of the business
community of Springhill, working in and later owning Alicks
Hardware.
Born in 1958 and having lived in most of
the major cities across the country, Toot touched the lives of so
many. His generous spirit, his love of people, and his
larger than life personality will be remembered and talked about for
many years to come.
He is survived by his wife Holly
(Merlin) Alick, brother Douglas Alick, sons Donald Alick and Zach
Babineau, daughters Tara (Casey) Dentremont and Kathy (Adams)
Beresford, step daughter Danielle Miller, and several
grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his father George
Alick, mother Nora Alick, brother Carl Alick, and sister Mary
Alick.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of the A H Brown Funeral Home, 5 McFarlane Street,
Springhill, (902 597 2361). There is no funeral service, but
condolences, thoughts, and memories are welcomed.
