Derrick’s Obituary
It is with heavy and broken hearts that the families of Derrick Wallace Hancock announce his passing. On May 23rd, 2020, at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Point, NL, in his 54th, year.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Kimberly nee Brown the love of his life, his beautiful daughters his greatest joy Desiree Bavis (Michael), and Brittany Hancock (Michael), his pride and joy his grandkids; Carter, Aiden, Hannah, Alex, and Brian his mother; Myrtle Lewis, his sisters; Debbie Hopkins (Bruce), and Jackie Smith (Dean), his brothers; Dennis Hancock (Tanya), and Darrell Hancock (Jackie), his mother and father-in-law; Margaret and Marvin Brown, his brother-in-law; Conrad Brown (Angela), his nieces and nephews; Miranda, (Danny) Lily, Daiman, John, Madison, Spencer, Jacob, and Morgan. Derrick was predeceased by his father; Fred Hancock, his grandparents; Jemina and Norman Hancock, Grace and Herbert Canning, Audrey and William Brown, and Bride and Emmanuel Payne, and a good friend Paul Lewis, also leaving to mourn a large circle of extended families and many many friends.
Due to the Covid-19. Government restrictions, there will be a private family viewing for immediate family only at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel, Deer Lake, NL. And then a private funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 26th, 2020, at 3:00, pm, from The St. Mary’s The Virgin Anglican Church, in Cow Head, NL, and then a private graveside service will take place at the Anglican Church cemetery in Cow Head, NL, with Rev: Terry Rose officiating.
