Obituary of Dennis James Turpin
It is with great sadness that on November 17, 2020 the family of the late Dennis James Turpin (Dennie) of Deer Lake announce his passing at the Western Long Term Palliative Care in Corner Brook at the age of 71 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 51 years Lorraine (nee Tapp) who remained by his side along with his children until his last breath, giving him the love, care and help that he needed to ease his pain that he endured from his illness. He also leaves to mourn his children and grandchildren whom he loved with every ounce of his being: Connie (Christopher) Hodder, Tina, Dennis (Lara), David (Sara) and Angel (Benjamin) White; grandchildren: Craig, Cameron, Taylor (Nathan), Riley Cluney, Kyle, Drew, Elijah, Abigail, Silas and his very special fur baby whom he loved dearly Gia-Dora; siblings Ursula Jamieson and Linda (Wilson) Hampton. He also leaves to mourn his special cousin Bert and wife Thyphenia Crewe as well as a large circle of other family and friends. Dennie was predeceased by his parents Lucy and James Turpin, Herbert and Ida Bake, in-laws Ernest and Lillian Tapp, sister Vivian Cranford and his very special fur baby Gemma-Lily. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium, Pasadena, NL. As Expressions of sympathy may be sent to the family or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
