Mrs. Denise Burey (née Lamothe)
1945-2020
The family announces with sorrow her passing at the Anson General Hospital on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the age of 74 years. Beloved wife of 50 years of the late George (2014), and cherished Mother of Carolle (the Late Michel Cyr), (Don Mousseau) Burey of Timmins, the Late Stella Moreau (Bob), and Louise Burey of Iroquois Falls. She will be forever remembered by her grandchildren; Melissa Cyr (Brandon Fennell) of Timmins and Marc Cyr (Kayla Howson) of Timmins. Denise was also a much loved grand maman to her precious little Tyko Fennell. Denise is also survived by her siblings: Thérèse (the Late Roland), (the Late Hilaire Martin), Fernand (Betty Anne) Lamothe, André (May Thurling) Lamothe, Fernande (the Late Gérald Michaud), (Lucien Michaud), Marie (the Late Marcel Bélanger) (Larry Byers), Noella (Patrice) Beaudoin, Rénald (the Late Pierette) (Diane Lamothe), Claire Lamothe, sisters-in-law Yvette (the Late Donald) Burey, Claudette (Jim) Benoit as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Albert and Alice Lamothe, her daughter Stella Moreau, her siblings; Janine Quevillion and Denis Lamothe, her brothesr-in-law Roland Fortin, Damien Quevillion, Gérald Michaud, Marcel Bélanger and her sisters-in-law Pierette Lamothe and Stella Lafrenière Bourdage.
A special thank you to Anson General Hospital and Staff for the excellent care and compassion shown towards our mom mom during her stay. To Dr. Bruno, Nurse Jess, Natalie Burey we want to express our sincerest gratitude for always treating our mom with special care.
The Funeral Service will be held at a later date so as to better welcome family and friends following the lifting of COVID-19 sanctions. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice and would be appreciated by the family.
