It is with great sadness that the family of David Charles Adair announces his passing on February 3, 2020, in Vancouver, British Columbia, with his children and dear friend by his side. David was born on October 3, 1948, in Saint John, NB.
David was the son of the late Norma (Ronan) and Robert William (Billy) Adair. He resided in Vancouver most of his adult life, owner and operator of a small construction company in which he worked until his death. He was known to be a very hard and diligent worker, helping many people along the way and never shying away from a challenge.
David is survived by his daughter Crystal (Ray); his son Shawn; his precious granddaughter Elaira; the mother of his children Linda; and his dear friend Russel all of British Columbia. He is also survived by his sisters Michelle (Tim), and Kelly (Rick) both of Miramichi; his brothers Paul (Mary), and Sean both of Miramichi, and Fred (Ros) of Calgary; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters Nancy (Charles) and her sons Joshua and Jeffrey.
A celebration of David’s life was held in Vancouver on Saturday, February 8, 2020. The family would like to thank his dear friend Russel for all of his kindness shown to David and the family, it has been much appreciated.
