Constance Leslie «Connie» McMahon
– 83, of Waterville, passed away in the Valley Regional
Hospital, Kentville on August 12, 2020. Born in Greenwood Square she
was a daughter of the late Leslie and Beatrice «Beep»
(Spinney) Spinney. Connie will be sadly missed by
all who knew and loved her. She enjoyed many creative pursuits
including quilting, scrapbooking, knitting, crocheting and square
dancing. Connie’s favorite pastime was being with her
family, especially gatherings at Morden
Beach. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert
«Bob» McMahon; two daughters, Lynn (Mark) Campbell,
Greenwich, and Karen MacDonald, Bridgetown; two sons, Rob (Jacqueline)
McMahon, Morden, and Tim McMahon, South Berwick; eight grandchildren,
Jill McMahon, Ryan (Kim) McMahon, Sarah Campbell-Bligh (David Bligh),
Jared Campbell, Alex MacDonald, Matthew MacDonald (Emily Dwyer),
Adrina McMahon (Tyler Williams), Cody McMahon; seven great
grandchildren: Dyllan, Kier, Elena, Ewan, Willow, Barrett and Marie;
as well as nieces, nephews and
cousins. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her
sister, Frances Hatt. Cremation has taken place and
there will be no visitation. There will be a celebration of life at a
later date. The family would like to express their appreciation to
Peter and Ismay Bligh, Dr. Rajaramen, Dr. Ha, the Medical-Oncology
nurses and staff of the Victoria General Hospital, Halifax, Dr. David
MacFarlane and the Surgical and Emergency nurses and staff of the
Valley Regional Hospital,
Kentville. Donations in memory may be made to Kings County
S.P.C.A. or Cancer Care Nova Scotia. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family
Funeral Home and Cremation Services,
Kentville.
