Chester James Kingston
December 15, 1948-November 13, 2020
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Dad and Grampie, Chester Kingston. Chester passed away peacefully in his sleep on November 13, 2020, at the age of 71, in Athabasca, AB.
Chester was born on December 15, 1948, in Saint John, NB to Ward and Catherine Kingston. Chester joined the Air Force at the age of 17 and spent 12 years in service to his country, in both the Air Force and the Navy. During his time in the Navy, he met and married the love of his life, Beverley. They were blessed to have celebrated 45 wedded years together prior to her passing in 2016.
Chester was predeceased by both parents, brother Allan Kingston, brothers-in-law; Allen Colbourne and Donnie Howe, niece Maureen Elliott and most recently, dearly beloved wife; Beverley Kingston.
Chester will be mourned and remembered by his only son, Daniel(Amanda) Kingston, grandchildren; Benjamin Kingston, Maria Kingston, Emma Kingston, Sophia Kingston, and Timothy Kingston. He also leaves behind his two sisters; Catherine(Sherman) Carter and Heather(Gary) Howe-Lewis, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
He will be remembered fondly and deeply missed.
Due to the current health crisis and the gathering restrictions imposed, the family will be holding a private funeral service.
