Carol’s Obituary
The family of Carol Anne Zatelny wishes to announce with sadness her passing in the Peace River Hospital on July 30, 2020 at the age of 75 years.
Carol was born in Stettler on December 23, 1944 to Bazil and Gertrude Armstrong and lived there until her marriage to Bill Zatelny.
Bill and Carol met in Mexico when she was on vacation with her parents and he was holidaying there with a friend. Romance soon blossomed and a long distance relationship continued for several months until their marriage in Edmonton on October 26, 1968. Bill and Carol farmed near Manning for many years until retiring to Peace River.
Carol was a resident of the Heritage Retirement Apartments at the time of her passing. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Zatenly on October 20, 2011 and her sister in law Jean Armstrong on July 27, 2020.
She will be sadly missed by her brothers Ross (Bev) and David and her adopted daughter Charlene Williams, as well as nieces and nephews. As there will be no service, please take a moment to remember her at this time.
