Carefoot, Arthur Lisle
Born in Meaford on February 10, 1948, a son of the late Sheldon and Edna (nee Bumstead) Carefoot of Bognor, Art passed away in Meaford on August 10, 2020 at the age of 72.
Art, a longtime resident of the Bognor and Meaford area, is survived by his daughters Tammy Thompson (Ted) of Desboro and children Stephanie and Kayleigh; Alisha Carefoot (John) of B.C. and children Zoey and Declan; Shelly Harvey (Andrew) of Meaford and children Mickaela and Georgia; and son Brian Carefoot also of B.C. He was a great grandfather to five.
Art was predeceased by his dear friend Edie Clarke of Meaford and is remembered by her son Gordie and as a Grandpa to Wyatt.
He was a brother to Helen McNabb of Chatsworth, Allan Carefoot of Walters Falls, Ken Carefoot of Bognor, Margaret Hines also of Bognor and Marion Pangle of Owen Sound. Brothers Ivan Carefoot of Collingwood and Douglas Carefoot of Edmonton predeceased Art.
Cremation has taken place and a private family disposition of his ashes will take place at a later date.
