It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Brian Neil Hobbs on Sunday December 20th in his 62nd year. Born in Toronto and spending his early years in Corner Brook Newfoundland, he later settled in Collingwood. Brian was a lover of sports and the outdoors with a special interest in camping, fishing and hunting. Son of the late Albert and Mary Hobbs. Beloved Husband to Yvonne (nee Miller) for 40 years. Loving Father to Jerry, Melissa (Rod) and Matthew (Shawna). Proud Grandfather to Zachary, Jacob and Baby Meadus. Survived by siblings Jerry (Lynne), Linda (Harold), Alan (Sandra) and Jim. Predeceased by brother Wayne (Karen). Brian will also be fondly remembered and greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A celebration of Brian’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Meaford Hospital Foundation.
