Brian Archibald Lockhart Lohnes
October 06, 1940 – May 28, 2020
1940 – 2020, died on the 28th of May at the Dartmouth General hospital after a number of years of poor health,
Brian was the only son of Lockie and Mabel Lohnes (Lockie’s Cottages) Mahone Bay Nova Scotia.
Brian was a long term member of the Canadian Army Reserves which was his first love he retired as a Staff Sargent Major.
Brian retired from Maritime Steel and Foundries Ltd., Dartmouth where he worked as a welder for many years.
He is survived by his daughter Charlotte and his grandson Payton Lohnes, and his step daughter Wendi Hill.
He was a good neighbor and enjoyed helping strangers and the needy.
Interment will be in Mahone Bay at a later date, donations may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion and the Canadian Lung Association in his memory.
