Saturday, November 28, 2020, Branimir (Brian) Šimić, late of Regina, SK, beloved uncle to Emily and Jake (Jakov), passed away at the age of 59. Branimir was born July 16, 1961, the eldest of three sons to Marija and Jakov, who both emigrated from Lika, Croatia in 1958. Brian bore his cross of MS since 1983, and still had the amazing character like our parents to devote his life to his traditional role as head of the family after father’s passing in 1993. He worked hard, and was devoted to the success of the family Construction business until he no longer could. He was predeceased by our parents (1993 and 2007), and is survived by brothers Joseph, John (Darlene) and their children Emily and Jake (Jakov). Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Peter’s R.C. Church, 100 Argyle St. N. with Fr. Ferdinand Eusebio Celebrant. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park.
