William Alfred Ehgoetz, age 76, of Stratford, passed away suddenly at home on April 1, 2020. Born in Ellice Township, son of the late Alfred and Lottie (Densmore) Ehgoetz.
Beloved husband for 54 years of Irene (Wickenheiser). Loving father of Keith (Marie), Laurie (Scott). Grandfather of Andrew and Nicole and great grandfather of Caleb and Carter. He will be remembered by his brothers in law and sisters-in-law Lloyd Wickenheiser (Donna), Marie Hoffard (Bill), Bob Wickenheiser (Heather), Bill Wickenheiser, Betty Zimmer (Jack), Ken Wickenheiser (Brenda), Ron Richardson (Verna) and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by his twin sister Bonnie Richardson (2004) and by his sister-in-law Joan Wickenheiser (2020).
Bill worked at Canadian Fabricated Products for 30 years. He enjoyed woodworking, playing slow pitch, cards with family and friends and the Saturday coffee group. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Stratford.

A family graveside service will be held at Avondale Cemetery at a later date.
