1921-2020
Beatrice Evelyn Brown-Lamb, 99, of
Petitcodiac, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2020 at the Moncton
Hospital. Born in River Glade, she was a daughter of the late Reid and
Nettie (Alward) Saunders.
Beatrice was a member of the Saint
Andrews Anglican Church, Saint Andrews Anglican Church Women,
Petitcodiac Women’s Institute, Petitcodiac Seniors Citizens,
and Royal Canadian Legion Women’s Auxiliary Branch #41. She
was an avid bowler, and reader. She enjoyed knitting socks, mittens,
and hats for her family, as well as donating many items to her church
and her community.
Survived and sadly missed by her
children, Mary (Lounsbury) Trites, Robert Lamb (Mary), Richard Lamb,
and Beatrice Brown (James); 15 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren;
28 great-great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her first husband,
Richard Lamb; second husband, James Brown; daughter, Linda Armstrong;
great-grandson, Chad Thorne; two sisters, Enid MacDonald, and Emma
Colpitts; brother, Reid Saunders; sons-in-law, Jack Lounsbury and Neil
Trites; grandson-in-law, Robin Thorne.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home 3350,
Route 106, Salisbury West (372-4800) from where visiting will be
Wednesday, October 28, from 2 – 4 pm. Due to Covid-19
restrictions, masks are mandatory, physical distancing will be
respected and capacity may be limited. A private family service will
be held. Interment at River Glade Anglican Cemetery.
If desired, memorials to the Saint
Andrews Anglican Church, or a charity of your choice would be
appreciated.
