Obituary of Barbara Marie Lyon
LYON, Barbara Marie – of Quinte Gardens, formerly of Corbyville, entered into rest at QHC-Belleville General Hospital on Thursday, November 26th, 2020, in her 94th year. Dear daughter of the late Rockwell & Lillian Huffman. Beloved wife of the late Harold James Lyon. Cherished Mother of David (Margaret) Lyon of Belleville, Richard (Adona) Lyon of Orillia and J. Mark (Linda) Lyon of Foxboro. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Karen, Christopher (Grace), April (Keith), Kyle, Tyler (Victoria), Nicholas, Joey (Stephanie), Alex (Jackie), and by her great grandchildren, Chace, Rianne, Gabe, Emma, Tristan, Bowen, Finley and Braelynn. Barbara was predeceased by her brother Harold, and sisters Jean and Helen. Fondly remembered by Brother-in-law John Lyon and Sister-in-law Sheila Lyon. Barb will be missed by her many nieces and nephews. A life time member of Queen Of The Most Holy Rosary Parish and CWL. Barb will be remembered for her sense of humor and love for her family never one to miss a game of cards with friends. Cremation has already taken place. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at a later time when it is safe to do so. Inurnment St. James Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Queen Of The Most Holy Rosary Church Capital Fund or the Canadian Cancer Fund would be appreciated by the family.
