Annie Marie Smith
March 12, 1936 – November 17, 2020
Passed peacefully away at her residence with her loving family by her side after a short and courageous battle with cancer, Annie Marie Smith of Dildo, aged 84 years.
Predeceased by husband, Erwin (Feb. 1989); infant baby son, still born (June 1969); beloved son, Carson Smith (Nov. 2016); parents, Stephen and Gertie Williams; brother and sister-in-law, Winston and Evelyn Williams; only sister and brother-in-law, Julia and Gordon French; brother, Pastor David Williams.
Leaving with many beautiful memories are her children, Gertie (Wallace), Maxine (Walt), Wanda (Wayne), and Darren (Cathy); daughter-in-law, Carolyn; 16 grandchildren, Carson, Kimberley, Doreen, Wade, April, Stephen, Jackie, Micheal, Darren, Heather, Jeffery, Amy, Mathew, Mitchell, Nicholas, Corey and their spouses; 32 great-grandchildren; second family, David and Wendy Whitten and church family; special and faithful godmother, Janie Pollett (residing at the Shag Rock Manor); a long time devoted friend, Joseph Cacciola; as well as a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a large circle of special friends and neighbors.
Due to the restrictions of Covid-19, the visitation and service to celebrate Annie’s life will be private.
