Passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side on Monday, December 28, 2020 at the age of 86. She is now dancing again with her husband Ross, who died in 2014. Loving mother of Denise Howell and Nadine Howell. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Landry (Steph), Skylar «Kimberly» Landry, Nicholas Howell (Lana Schell) and Taylor Howell-Chubbs, and great grandmother to Aurora andArabella Howell. Dear aunt of Ruth-Ann Reiner and Mary-Jane Hainsworth. Predeceased by her sister Theresa (late Doug) Geisel. Special thanks to Linda Purdy who gave so much comfort to our family through her coordination of care, as well as the wonderful staff on the 5th floor at Grand River Hospital. Exceptional gratitude goes to Mary Youden who went above and beyond in her love, care and assistance in tending to our mother at home. Thanks also to the LHIN staff, especially nurse Bobby. During our mom’s final hospital stay, we thank the staff on the 8th floor. Her final days were spent on 6 north, where our family received respect, dignity and compassion until the very end.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
