Alma Margaret Ross (Jones)
June 30, 1925 – December 17, 2020
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Alma Margaret Ross. Alma was predeceased by her parents Samuel Heath and Sarah Elizabeth Jones. She was the wife of the late Robert James Ross. Alma was the mother of the late Randall Charles Heath and Cheryl Elizabeth (3 ½ months). She is dearly loved by her son Wayne Robert, daughter-in-law Colleen, grandsons Bryan, Nicholas and Justin and great granddaughter Emily Grace.
Alma was pre-deceased by her brothers Albert and Robert (late Jean) and her sister Eleanor Latchford (late Carl). She is fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews and friends. Alma loved to entertain her family and friends at her home. She was a wonderful cook. Her specialities were her fruit chili sauce and apple pie. Alma is especially remembered for her warm welcoming smile and her ever ready hugs.
The family wishes to thank all Alma’s great friends and neighbours who assisted her in her day to day life. The family extends a special thanks to the VON staff for the care they provided to Alma over the last several years. We would also like to thank the doctors and nurses at the Peterborough Hospital for Alma’s recent care.
There will be a celebration of Alma’s life at a later date, when it is safe to get together.
