Obituary of Alice Peters
Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at the Lee Manor Nursing Home, on Saturday morning, January 25th, 2020. Mary Alice Peters (nee Riddell), of Owen Sound, at the age of 92 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Walter “Wally” Peters (2008). Loving mother of Carolyn Peters, of Owen Sound. Proud grandmother of Robert (Tracey), Darren (Angie) and Shannon (Jeremy); great-grandmother of Sarah, Bradley, Rob, Andrew, Allison, Brooke, Annastasia, Zachary, Kara-Lyn and Sydney; great-great-grandmother of Ava, Maxwell, Patrick, Bentley and Monica. Dear sister of Allan Riddell (Jean) and sister-in-law of Bonnie Riddell, both of Owen Sound. Alice will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Bert and Hazel Riddell; her siblings, Arnold Riddell (Betty), Gladys Ramsay (Dave) and Elwood Riddell.
A Funeral Service for Alice Peters will be held in the Chapel of the BRIAN E. WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 250 – 14th Street West, Owen Sound, Ontario N4K 3X8 (519-376-7492) on Wednesday, January 29th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Heather McCarrel officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:45 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service. Spring Interment in Leith Cemetery, Leith. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Trinity United Church, Annan as an expression of sympathy.
