IVANY, Albert – Passed peacefully away at Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, Albert Ivany of Lethbridge, formerly George’s Brook, aged 83 years. Predeceased by his parents Garfield & Gertrude; wife Lucy; daughter Peggy; sister Gladys Stanley; brothers Robert and Wallace. Left with fond and loving memories his common law wife Elizabeth Diamond of 21 years; children Linfield Ivany (Kristy), Jessie Crocker, Donnakaye (Tony), Peter Crocker (Trina), Laura Dalton, Gerald Diamond (Wanda Lee) and Chris Abbott (Alva); grandchildren Jaegar, Mackenzie, Courtney, Aaron, Steven, Lucas, Adriene, Keesha, Peter, Terra, Joshua, Skye, Angelina, Lucas and Christopher; great grandchildren Charleigh, Avery, Lacey, Carlee, Chloe, Kaydence and Oakley; sisters Shirley Skiffington (Herbert), Geneva Stanley and Florence Chaffey; brother-in-law Herbert Stanley; and a large circle of family and friends. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Clarenville on Wednesday, December 30 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. with Covid-19 guidelines in place. Funeral service will take place on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Fewer’s Memorial Chapel, Clarenville by invitation only with interment to follow at Pleasant Street Cemetery, Clarenville.
