Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
In memory of Adele Sarkis (nee Elias) peacefully in her 91st year, with her devoted children by her side on Friday, December 4, 2020 at the Leamington Mennonite Home. Reunited with the love of her life, the late Youssef Sarkis (2003) and her beloved grandson, Giovanni Scerbo (2012). Cherished mother to Carmel Boutros and husband, Backos, Paul Sarkis and wife, Bahia, Sue Sleiman and husband, Nick, Joseph Sarkis and wife, Nancy, Mary Scerbo and husband Ernie, Alice Friesen and husband John. Adele is also survived by her precious 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Loving sister to Sam Elias and wife Laurice, Max Elias and wife Marie. Dear sister-in-law to Rafic Sarkis and wife Maroun. Predeceased by her parents, Youssef and Kawkab Elias, sister, Raja Youssef (Antonios), brother, Louie Elias (Georgette), brother, Paul Elias (Taman), brother Wagih Elias (Messika) and sister, Mary Nohra (Wajih). She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family extends their deepest gratitude and heartfelt thanks to the entire staff of the Leamington Mennonite Home for the compassion and care they provided to our beloved mother.Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home, 14 Russell Street Leamington on Tuesday 2-5 p.m and 6:30 -9 p.m. Private Family Mass to be held at St. Anthony’s Parish, Leamington. Due to Covid restrictions, visitation and Funeral Mass are limited to a specific number of people at a time. Only those with an appointment will be let in. Please book an appointment online at www.reidfuneralhome.ca to secure attendance to pay your respects to the family. EVERYONE must wear a mask and social distance from the family and those around them. Entombment Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Leamington Mennonite Home.
