A. Jean’s Obituary
Passed away quietly at Telfer Place in Paris, Ontario on Monday January 27, 2020. Jean was 97 years of age. Predeceased by her beloved husband Daniel Whiting (2017). Forever loved mother of Debbie Bolton (David Bolton), Catherine Horsfall (Robin Horsfall) and Joan Taylor (Bill Taylor). Loving grandmother of Chris Horsfall (Lauren), John Bolton (Hannah), Ted Horsfall, Michael Bolton (Emma), Mark Taylor (Melanie) and Julie Taylor and great-grandmother of Jacob, Kane and Indiana. Cherished sister in-law of Ellen McAllister, the late Lewis Whiting and the late Gordon Whiting.
Jean was a teacher for many years with the Grand Erie District School Board and was a long-time member of Bethel Stone United Church.
Friends will be welcomed at the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, on Sunday from 7 – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday February 3, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Adrianne Robertson will officiate. Interment following in the Paris Cemetery. In Jean’s memory, donations to Bethel Stone United Church or the Alzheimer’s Society (www.alz.org/ca/) would be appreciated by the family.
